Kentucky residents will receive expanded mental health care access and outpatient services, thanks to Seven Counties Services being named a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) agency. The program is made possible through federal funding, administered by the Kentucky Department for Medicaid Services.

At Seven Counties Services, our addictions team has been preparing for nearly a year to obtain an American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Certification from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. This certification shows that a detoxification and residential treatment program maintains a high level of care and demonstrates the capacity of our programs to provide residential addiction treatment consistent with their criteria.
Seven Counties Services is providing free opioid overdose training throughout its seven-county service region from March - May. The purpose of the trainings is three-fold: to help reduce social access to opioids in the community through safe storage, increase awareness to the dangers of opioid misuse/overdose, and increase awareness of community resources to address overdose risk in our local communities.
