Seven Counties Services is expanding its mental health services into Henry Co. to make getting help more accessible to local residents who have historically had to travel to nearby counties for assistance.
The nonprofit organization has signed a lease with Tri-County Community Action Agency to establish a satellite office in Eminence at the Hope Community Center at 684 Elm Street. Seven Counties Services will provide mental health and substance use disorder treatment to adults, children, and adolescents there three days a week. Services will include individual/group/family therapy, peer support, and crisis support, among others.
“Through our relationship with Hope Community Center, we’re making mental and behavioral health services available close to home for Henry County residents during a time when many are dealing with a myriad of effects from the COVID-19 pandemic. Our presence in the community will provide easy access for individuals who need mental health services, case management, substance abuse treatment, family support, or other services,” said Jennifer Hardigree, Division Director for Rural Counties, Seven Counties Services.
The first day on site for Seven Counties Services staff was Wednesday, Sept 1. Individuals who wish to make a first appointment should call Seven Counties Services at (502) 589-1100.
